New to the TRUCK world

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum. I just bought a brand spanking new 1990 Black Chevy Silverado. Every man needs a truck. I've wanted one for 20yrs and finally made the move. The previous owner treated her very well and I will continue the best I can. My wife already thinks I am having an affair. When we talk, "Flowmaster", "lift kits" and will "285's rub on sharp turns", always creeps into the conversation.

I'm hoping to use the forum for good info and communication and hopefully not to ask how to unfreeze a 5.7 liter after overheating!

Merry Christmas and hope to hear from some of you.

Nobde

squirt! I eny you! I have been wanting a truck from the moment I turned 16, just don't have the cash flow. I'm sure you know how that goes. Anyways that truck sounds orgasmic! or at least it has potential. A nice 10" lift would be unreal, what do you plan to do to it? Details please, how big of a lift? The tires? and the exuast? Enjoy the new truck!

Re: New to the TRUCK world

Just going to go easy at first. Having pin strips redone. Definitely new duel exhaust system this summer. Already have chrome wheels and 275 tires.
Also thinking about 3" body lift. My Wife just bought me a remote starter for Christmas. That will be great for those cold winter mornings.

welcome. Hey, goto www.chevytalk.com they have very good topics concerning your truck. Be very carefull though. They banned me for asking what my in-laws Z28 was worth. They thought I was trying to sell it.
