HelP **Will H22 93 prelude engine fit in my 89 civic
sup peoplez i need to noe if an h22 form a 92-96 prelude fit in my honda civic HB. if it does what do i have to buy and how would i make it work...plz help ... thnx

You will have to alter the engine compartment some to get it in there, then you will need motor mounts, wire harnesses, and etc. In the end by the time you get the $$$ to get every thing you need to get it to work you would have paid for the prelude plus some.

anything will fit but it usually cost you $65-$120/hr at your local fab shop. and if you live near phoenix i can reccomend a really good one.

The answer is yes, and how do i know, because i've got one in mine, but it's a real bitch to put in if you know what i mean, there's many many mods you need to do, and that motor is really heavy so it it causes the car to roll big time. I would reccoment the b18c or lsvtec.

I also have one in my 91, and frostee is right it does put alot of weight in the front, also you will have to modify the fire wall to make it fit..
also if you do this swap I would suggest relocating the battery to the trunk any weight distributed is a plus... |
