1993 sable,need to replace front spring,...any help?
my front spring broke an i would love to have any info to make the job a lil easier,diagrams,..or even just some kind of directions

Is this the spring that sits on top of the MacPherson strut?
If so, make sure that you can get the special tools you'll need for this job. You'll need a spring compressor, torque wrench, and all the usual stuff like bottle jack(s) and pry bars for ball joints, etc. And a place to work. Just be careful, if this is a strut job! These things can be dangerous. I've got a major hole in the sheetrock of my shop, thanks to a crappy home-built looking spring compressor that I rented, and it failed! |
