In progress Aristo

Just a a very early stage at the moment - initial thoughts for colour is Tamiya candy lime green with orange graphics

Chassis will require some serious surgery tho'

I'm very interested by your project because the 91' Aristo is also one of my next projects.

Post the progress of the chassis modification because I'm working a few on it & I'm curious to see your solution to lower this baby...

It'll probably be not very sophisiticated and involve a razor saw as I'm just going to build it as a slammer

Bling Bling !
Got my order from Tower Hobbies yesterday and these are the wheels I'm going to use - Hoppin Hydros Monster Venetian's.
BTW I'd recommend Tower to anybody in the UK looking for Pegasus/HH rims - they're very quick to dispatch (only drawback is as
far I as I see they don't stock Pegasus Aluminium 23" rims)
Just doing a bit of work on the front end to smooth it out a bit.

Looks good. I like the decal thats on the car in the first pic. I'm not to sure about either of the rims on there, but of course, I'm not much of a bling bling kind of guy.

Fcuk Me those wheels are mad...........
Should be another great build Andy

Not want to Hijack but..
I now have a new body for mine as the last one got screwed up with Halfords Custom Candy Red, melting throught the primer and wrecking the body.

Funny you should say that Steve -the body had a warp in it - no problem I thought - just heat it up with a hairdryer - I was a bit over enthusiastic - result - B pillar melted and roof distorted as well
This ones now on hold while I wait for a replacement.
Oh well live & learn !

The postman brought me my Xmas present to myself this morning which was another Aristo kit to replace the body I knackered up.
This time I got the Luxy version which has the barking mad poseable suspension

I've still got to put the body kit on - the Venetian rims will need some surgery but I'm well pleased as the new chassis hasn't got any wheelwells which will save me a lot of time with a razor saw.

Sorry Chris it's just the black plastic at the moment - haven't had time to prime it yet - having said that it does look good in black but I haven't
decided on a colour yet altho I think I'll defintely go with the graphic.

Just some pics of it with the body kit added - I've joined the bit between the rear skirts across the rear bumper to make it one piece and will probably fill the lower part of the front bumper. I'm thinking of painting it Nissan Midnight purple with silver graphics.

The suspension is quite clever as it's all push fit and allows the suspension arms to move up & down and the camber can also changed- sorry its not too clear in the pic

Re: In progress Aristo

nice... so it's poseable even after the build is finished? that's great... purple/silver sounds like an awesome combination and would look so awesome with the rims...
