"Da Bomb!!" My Propane Truck

I am having severe difficulties with my propane/gas powered 88 GMC Sierra. I purchased the truck in hope of pulling the Propane out but found the the engine will not fire on gas. It has an EFI system but upon turning the key forward the injectors will not start to spray until the engine has been started. I can only start it one of 3 ways, either prime it with propane, manually prime with gasoline in the TBI, or give it a blast of ether. If anybody would be able to help me in this situation or know of anyone that could it would be greatly appreciated. P.S. it really sucks cuz it won't start on gas and won't run on propane so I need em' both right now and propane as far as I'm concerned is not an option.
