s-10 4cyl to v-6 swap
Does anyone know how hard it is to do this swap? I have a '94 s-10 parts truck and want to put the v-6 in place of my '97 s-10's 4cyl. I am also putting the automatic trans in place of the current 5-speed. What difficulties are there if any? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

mounts will need to be changed, and im not to sure on the wireing, but you will need a shift kit for the auto tranny and it will go on the floor

I have the column w/shifter and was going to transfer all since I want to get rid of the air bag system.(dash,wiring harness, etc.) The wiring is the only real concern I have. Looks like most is the same, but I just don't want it to burn to the ground like them there Fords are doing!
Also was wanting to get rid of the anti-lock brake sytem, not sure what headache that would be..... |
