You mean the spindle? These are your best bet.http://car-part.com/ http://www.supraforums.com (parts for sale section) |

Re: Where can I buy a front axle for MKIV N/A
The guy just told me that the front axle needs to be replaced and that the heads are blown. So whatever I need to get to fix those things is what I'm looking for. any help would be appreciated, thx
Edit:I just went to the car-part.com place and it asked for the left or right spindle so which one would need fixing if its the front axle? |

Re: Where can I buy a front axle for MKIV N/A
haha, ok, I sent hime an email with more details so when he gets back to me i'll ask him about that. And yes, he said "heads", the pm just said, "i have a 95 supra single turbo with a salvage title. front axle needs to be replced and blown heads..." So I figured for the heads, I would just rebuild the engine unless there is something else I could do?

Re: Where can I buy a front axle for MKIV N/A
Not heads, head, an I6 only has one head. If you ever even think your going to sell the car then i wouldn't waste the money, cause you probably won't get it back unless you find some really good deals on parts to rebuild it. It'd be worth checking out definetly though, he obviously knows nothing about it, other than what kind of car it is. Thought you said it was a N/A? He said its got a single, but we know how far this guys word goes now.
So ask him what kind of turbo it is, what kind of fuel upgrades it has, boost control, fuel control, all that stuff.

Re: Where can I buy a front axle for MKIV N/A
He says I would need to find the left side of assembly for the front, so does that mean the left front spindle? He now says he meant the head gasket needs to be done. So I was just wondering if that info matches up lol

Re: Where can I buy a front axle for MKIV N/A
sounds like this guy doesnt really know what hes talking about. Be careful. If the motor will need to be replaced completely, they can run $4-6k for a complete motor. A headgasket is a few hundred dollars. Also try to find out what turbo he has on there...single turbo isnt NA...
with anything beyond 93, a single turbo is an upgrade. If the car started its life as an NA and then turbocharged it and blew his headgasket because of that, it means he ran too much boost and probably got a lot of detonation causing the headgasket to blow and probably mess up a few other things in there ie pistons and rods. Try to find more details, pictures, and turbo info. Post up here and ill try to help out where i can with my opinion |

Re: Where can I buy a front axle for MKIV N/A
thx rscott, i will be rebuilding the motor if I have to fix it so that wont be an issue. and i found out that the single turbo is stock taken from a 98 supra. Also, the guy is selling another supra for $32,000 so I assumed that he know's stuff about supra's but you never know lol

Re: Where can I buy a front axle for MKIV N/A
a stock turbo should never be used alone, regardless of the year it was taken out of. The stock turbos are much much to small and will run out of efficiency soon after boost kicks in. After that you will be blowing nothing but hot air that is prone to detonate. look into getting a larger turbo for the car. What transmission does it have? If it did start as a nonturbo, i can source you the major components of a turbo kit perfect for the power range for either of the nonturbo transmissions. The turbo size will depend on which tranny it comes with. The auto will be maxed out at 350 rwhp while the 5speed is good to roughly 550 rwhp.

Re: Where can I buy a front axle for MKIV N/A
I don't have that kind of money to put another turbo on there but here's the thing, he said I needed to replace the left assembly meaning fuel pump/idle silinoid/head gasket, first off, does that make sense and also, by just leaving the single turbo on there am I hurting anything or should I take it off?
