what do you think of this???
1991 mr2 NA, 117,000 $5,500
just need it to last two years or 30k mi. is it a good deal?? was thinking of getting new tranny and customizing somewhat messed up interior. anyone know shops near los angeles that specialize in custom or fixing interior??? |

sounds pricey. bought mine for $4,300.00. thats with leather, ttop and both interior and exterior are in excellent condition. btw, it had 109,000 miles.

Indeed sounds pricey. I got my turbo fer 6 grand, 93k miles. Good deal, but I have heard of MUCH better too. As far as reliability is concerned you should have no problems gettin 30k out of this car. It's a tried and true engine also used in the 4 cylinder camrys (but you prob already knew that). In fact I drove a non turbo 91 with 145K on it, selling for 7 muthaf'in grand. Why I don't know, I just wanted to drive a MR2. But that engine was still pulling as if it had lessthan 100k on it.

my mr2 has 250g miles and my baby can still smoked hondas =D. i haven't changed the engine or rebuilt the only thing that i changed is the clutch. i just love my mr2. i'm just waiting for it to give up then i'm gonna buy a jdm engine with turbo.
