Re: Yea i Know im an IDIOT!!!

if u hook up a 12 volt feed to the deck, jump the 12 volt to the ignition on the deck...that will turn it on...ahh...but make sure u got your grounds...

lol....i think u can take it straight from the battery as well....

i did that before, haha sucks

As far as the code is concerned you may want to check some of the hot spots that the dealerships usually put the code. Since the actual radio code is never put on the car at the factories sometimes the dealers will stick it somewhere for easy reference. Try looking for a sticker on the wall of your glove box, or fuse box lid, or crazy enough the trunk lid braces. If you still can't find it your in luck seeing how the the radio's out you have easy access to the serial. Just drop by your local Honda dealer and head straight to the service area. They should be able to look it up for you with no problem.

Re: Yea i Know im an IDIOT!!!

I did the same thing but i was really lazy and really wanted my cd back so i broke the face of and took it out so if you plan on not keeping it you can break it open or take it apart, breaking is more fun.

I did the same thing with my old cd player. But mine was another deck I had installed previously...and it was already malfunctioning, so i I didn't really lose anything and had a bit of fun doing it!

Sometimes you gotta be a li bit to get the job done
