Re: Re: Newbie Here and my latest project 1968 Shelby GT500

the chrome looks great. nice build, I'm just not feeling that wing on the back. The GT500 has a wing molded into the trunk/rear facia, and looks real sleek without it. BTW, what color is this?

Good to see more muscle! Paint looks killer but I dont like the 80s style decals, red stripes or wing.

Welcome to AF!

Nice work! Although did you have to use ALL the decals(and then some)?
I just finished work on one of these, but it's in a closer to factory condition. Admittedly the kit is a complete horror to put together, the tooling having spawned from A kit originally made back in 1968, But I've been thinking of doing one kind of custom like this. Show us your next model when you get back into it, You seem to have most of the basic skills down.

Looks pretty good. Just keep building, and eventaully you'll get really good. Most people's first cars are never good, unless they posted here for a while before they start.

Re: Newbie Here and my latest project 1968 Shelby GT500

I just finished my most wanted project - BMW E34. I've got the same car as a wedding present. But when I moved to a new house. It was damaged a bit. So Now I have to repaint it and find some new hadlight linses.

Also, where do you guys buy your rims and body kits. Most of what I've got is stock:
99 Chevy Corvette
F40

My very first project was this truck - 94 Chevy C3500 Lowered. I did it for my company a while back. (Please don't laugh)
