how do i fixed curbed rims

i fiquire that u just weld pieces of metal and sand them till they r smooth and look good but hyow do i do it, what kind of metal should i use to fix the rims?

steel or alloy wheels? I hit an ice patch back when I had an RX7 with alloy wheels and it caused me to back into a curb at like 15-20 mph... knocked the tire right off the beed and bent the rim. (tire/wheel would no longer hold air) I was getting new wheels very soon but I still needed something to get me by until they showed up so I took the wheel off and heated the bent spot with a torch then beat it back into a fairly round shape with a 2 pound sledge hammer... (I do not recommend this fix for any long period of time or agressive driving but it got me by for the couple weeks I had to wait for my new wheels)

best bet would probably be to buy a new one but there are places out there that will fix wheels so you shouldn't even be able to tell they were ever messed up. i believe one place is called fix-a-rim you can try looking them up online

Last summer I bought some 16" Kosei Racing Seneka wheels with khumo supra 205/40zr16. The girl I bought them from did some serious curb damage to the wheels. So.....I had the tires taken off the wheels at a tire shop, and went at the lip of the wheels with a disc grinder. I sanded at it for about 2 hours and got the lip pretty smooth. After that I brought the wheels to a sandblaster and had them blasted, which takes all the finish off down to bare metal with fine "pits" in the wheels. Then I had all the wheels powdercoated Gunmetal The whole process was pretty cheap and the rims turned out super nice, like brand new, plus powdercoated rims dont really get dirty, you can wipe the dirt and grime away with your finger (if you want i suppose). Anyways, just a thought, worked great for me.
