Best Honda/Acura for the 1/4
What, in your opinion is it? IMO its the 88 CRX HF, only 1900lbs from the factory! Only problem is, the B seires swaps means you gotta replace axels.

Best Honda/Acura drag racer is the NSX and the S2000.
Those are expensive cars, but the Crx is a good option since its really cheap and really light.

I love both the NSX and the S2k, but a CRX with a swapped H22 and the right suspension would smoke both an s2k and an NSX in the quarter. The s2k is 900 pounds heavier than an HF CRX, and the NSX is 1253 pounds heavier. Granted, the NSX has 90 more hp than an h22, but weight makes all the difference.

Re: Best Honda/Acura for the 1/4
the H22's weght increase (200 lbs) will help make traction, is this best quarter mile car going to have to be streetable?

It doesn't HAVE to be streetable. That depends on whether or not you want to drive the car in an area other than a race track, in which case, yes, you would have to take the precuations necessary to make it streetable. Maybe you meant to ask something like, "Will an H22-powered CRX be streetable?" A CRX with an H22 would probably run in the 13's, so it would be streetable and manageable as long as you beefed up the suspension to handle the added weight. I may have misunderstood your original question, but whatever. By the way, does anyone know what the limit is as far as hp or quarter mile times for a streetable car? When does a car become too fast for the street? 10's? 9's?
