New to forum need assistance

I am about to get a 1979 Trans Am T-top. I haven't seen it yet, but will be going to view in a few days. I am looking for net resources and info that you guys have found useful. any parts or shops that you can reccommens, ie: Summit, Jeg's JCWhitney etc. will be helpful. And if you can offer any numbers in terms of engine specs and or capacities will be helpful.
