Sable/Taurus paint code location
The wimmen in my household have a 97 Taurus and a 98 Sable. One of my new honeydo's is to touch up some scratches. Where is the paint code and key to deciphering it? Found the VIN, found the specs and the assorted codes inside the driver door pillar---is the code contained in there somewhere?

I just looked at my driver door label (Sable). There is and entry at the bottom:
EXT PNT: WT WT = white This code is ok for dealers. If you want to try Autozone etc. they should have a cross-reference book with all makes/colors.
