Re: HP ratring ???
Lets see...
In 91' a 170hp 5.0 V8 In 92' they switched to a 180hp 5.7 V8 In 94 they switched to the 260hp LT1 5.7 V8, the same(although modified) engine they use in the corvettes, camaros, firebirds, and a caddy or two. They used the LT1 up until 96' when they stopped making roadmasters. |

what would a stock compression reading for the 260 hp motor be?
i checked mine and got 220 psi on all 8 cyl. of mine, almost impossible to turn over by hand ( with the proper tools of course) w/ the plugs in it. i removed the plugs and tested all 8 cyl. these results seem a little high to me though. mabie its just because this motor is new to me and i use to the older 350's. |
