Question Gsr Vs. Prelude Vtec

I do not have a car yet cause i am still deciding which to get...i want to know which car is faster....a 94,95gsr or a 94,95 prelude vtec... all i want to know is which one would be faster off the line... lets just say stock or with just a few mods done to it like intake header and exhaust..

thanks...

i raced my buddy in his 97 SH prelude. his car is chipped, lowered, and also has a cold-air intake. my GS-R is stock. i got off to a better start than him but once he hit 3rd gear he started to pull away.

gsr is faster off the line, soon as the vtec kicks in the prelude is gone!! what are you looking for, fast start or flat out power?? Go with the vtec you wont be dissapointed

GSR will pull away off the line, lude will pass the gsr without much trouble in the 1/4th mile.

Which VTEC are you talking about? Anyways, The Prelude VTEC is faster overall while the GSR takes off a little faster.

yeah... the 94-95 Si VTEC makes about 5-10 HP less than the 97+ Preludes.

Talking Integra VTEC vs Prelude VTEC

This is almost a nightly thing with me. I have 2 buddies one with
a 2K SH and another with a '01 VTEC. I hang with both of them.
I have Z rated rubber, fresh air intake and advanced timing.
I estimate I put 155 or so to the tarmac which is enough to
keep up with a lude. I missed a gear the other night and bent
my vavles... so its in the shop now getting a valve job. I opted
for ITR vavlesprings and plan on going to a JDM CTR intake cam.
I may get a carlength on them when I am broke in and done =)
I will be able to spin more freely, but I have newfound $respect$ for
that 8K + rev happiness!!
