My 1983 733i is Actually a German 732i ???
My 1983 733i is Actually a German 732i i found this out when i registered with the bmw owners circle. The 1983 was the first year that the 4 speed automatic was introduced and anti lock brakes was put on the 733i's my car does not so this is further evidence that its a German 732i. My father worked for bmw for quite some time and he told me sometimes they take a german model off the german lines to keep up with the demand in the U.S. It has all the safty stuff that the was required back then but no four speed automatic or anti lock brakes.
If anyone has a car like this please reply i would like to know if there are more like mine.

I have an 83 733i without ABS and its a 5 speed manual trans.
