Question Help on muscle Stang (1968-1972)

Ok,as you can see, I'm new here and would appreciate any help that you can give me. I am 19, live in the NYC area and in the process of getting a car. Now I was looking into buying a "Muscle Car" and have been very interested in the Mustangs and have found a few cheap ones (1968-1972) that have devent bodies. Now, the questions. One, would it be worth it to buy a car, and later down the road (three or four years) put in a bigger, more powerful engine? Second, how expensive would it be to fix the floorboards, because on the many Mustangs around here, I have seen many that have rust and need fixing. Third, if i wanted custom body work for custom mouldings, like to make it look real sweet, where could I go for that, any sites or people in the NYC Metro area?

Thanx for any help,
Kosta
