Smile Peugeot 206 WRC 2000 progress

Here is my Peugeot WRC 2000 from Tamiya. Got it for $26 on one of the Z-shops on amazon.com. I recieved it in 6 days from the day I ordered. This kit really cool with all the detail. I can see quality better than any other Tamiya kit ive done and it should be a joy to build.
I also bought this Sakura Micropen thats .20mm for panel lines. I havnt done anything to it yet but I should start tonight on the chassis. Sorry, the pics were not taken in good light. Ill let the pics speak now

ever since we built the focus, im hooked on wrc models. I almost picked up the pug yesterday but went with the scoob instead. Looks like a nice model. I might have to go back and get it.

.20?

That's a bit thick, I have a Micron .005 for panel lines.

More progress. I painted the body with TS-17 with 3 progressivly heavier mist coats and one wet coat and I got the paint perfect. It was a first for no orange peel. I also started putting decals on. Ive only destroyed the 'eurodatacar' decal so far and the big 206 decal started to dry when It wasnt in the right place and it tore just a tiny bit. But I will learn from my mistakes
