tenzo r seats
does anyone know anything about the tenzo r seats. they seem a little cheap and i know you get what you pay for. i am personally looking at sparco or corbeau, but if tenzo is a good seat for half the price. thanks

Not really familiar with racing seats myself, but I like the stock seats so I doubt I'll get new ones. Just out of curiosity, but are you working on a show car or just looking for a different seat?

Re: tenzo r seats
Tenzo R's are pretty damn good for the buck. I know a lot of people who have them, and are quite happy. I've found that racing seats are a lot like air intakes.... every brand does the same thing (give your ass a place to rest and be tied to), and they all have to meet the same standards (US DOT standards). So a lot of it is in the names. It's like, I can make my own intake for about $70, or I can buy the AEM intake for $200*. Both do the same thing, both get the same gains. What's the difference? Opening the hood and seeing AEM (or in your case looking in and seeing Sparco vs Tenzo R).
*Even though I didn't pay for my AEM intake. |

Re: tenzo r seats
Tenzo's are decent for the price. You get what you pay for when it comes seats, yea seats are seats - what's your ass worth? IMO seats are like helmets, the more you spend the more comfortable it will feel.

Sounds good. Del Sol's look really nice in silver, and blue goes well with silver.
![]() Also, are you selling the B16 or keeping it around for spare parts? Got any pics of your car so far to share with us? I always like to see other's projects. Keep us posted on how things go.

Yeah, she really wants those seats. Gives me something to tease her with at the meets though.

well, ordered the corbeau A4s yesterday. lots of good info in the dec. issue of sport compact. seat should fit perfect for my skinny ass.
as for my stock seats. the car was originally black 93 s model, but i swapped the b16 in. i'll post pics of the seats and car as soon as i finish this roll of film. seats are in good shape, so just make an offer. i live about 50 miles north of tampa. i have a buyer for the b16. i got the gsr motor from a hatchback totaled in the back for $2000 and selling the b16 for $1600. |

Good deal.
Can't wait to see the pics. I'm pretty damn small myself, so I hear 'ya. Regarding the seats, if it was an S model, then I'm assuming there was no stripe on them. Amanda's looking for seats from the '95 VTEC's - it's the only year and model the seats had the green stripe that matches her color. The only other years they made Sol's her color didn't come with striped seats. Hence why she's buggin' me - I've got a '95 VTEC.
