Camaro SS twin turbo?

A Camaro SS twin turbo! Not to sure if it's real. I found a video on kazaa with a guy driving a camaro ss twin turbo smoking import cars around him. If so, where can I find that turbo kit, or who fabricates one for the 4th gen camaro ss.

If no one knows the answer, can you post a link to other forums basically on camaros only. Thanks.

Lingenfelter.
02 ss is an ls1, John Lingenfelter has created a ls1 twin turbo vette, if he can do that, he better be able to do it in the big old engine compartment of a camaro.

customer headers et al. etc. = $$,$$$

The company that makes the Lingenfelter kit for the vette's, Incon, makes a seperate kit for LS1 f-bodies. The only twin kit for LT1's is the Musclecar Technologies kit. Ask around on CamaroSS.com in the forced induction forum.

Iv never heard of a TT setup on the camaro but I do know of plenty of single turbo setups. I saw 1 run at the track and was pulling low 11's high 10's on street tires. One of the best sounding cars i ever heard. :badass:

I believe that the Incon TT setup for the F-body was having problems getting off the ground. I have heard many accounts of people paying money when teh kit was still in development stages and are still waiting for their kits. But there are quite a few satisfied customers out there so I don't know what to think. http://www.inconturbo.com/ used to have info on the system...but it doesn't work any more.

I read about one guy who was getting right at 500HP to the wheels on stock internals(Stage II kit)!!!! For a while anyway. His tranny went first I believe.

Thats alot of HP on Stock internals...

500 HP huh, so his tranny went out. Curious, just cruizin looking for parts here. A twin Turbo setup huh. That would be cool.

The tranny was just the first thing to go. In the end he snapped numerous u-joints, driveshafts, blew the rear end out I believe, and eventually bent a rod when he had the rest of the car bulletproof and he put slicks on the car at a dragstrip one weekend.

I seen that video my friend has it on his computer . The guys driving are idiots though. The thing is you'd be better off with ONE LARGE turbo then two small ones for various engineering reasons.

HAHAHAHAHAH.....*sniff*....HAHAHAHAHAH. Have you seen the engine bay of an LS1 f-body; 1/4 the engine is under the dash. There is not much space in an LS1, or LT1 for that matter, engine bay.

And I thought I was the only one that noticed that about the new camaros. :alien:
