Lightbulb fog projectors

on a 97 spyder can the fog projector bulbs be changed out, or do you have to change the whole apparatus? i have seen the books say h3 bulbs, but i looked at my lights, took the cover off, etc. and i can't figure how to acctually get to the bulb. anyone ever do this, or should i just get the piaa 1100's? thanks...

At one time i played around with my fog lights, trying to get the outer glass out and leave them as projectors, but i was left with no success... after a few years of just sitting, those suckers stick together...
