Smile 1968 Phantom Pontiac GTO Judge (11 pics)

Hello. I finished another kit. It was manufactured by Monogram. I bought this kit as a salvage project and finally got around to it. Pontiac never made a Judge in 1968 but I wanted to see one so voila'! The paint is PlastiKote Ford auto paint. I wired the engine which includes plug wires, fuel lines, brake lines, scratchbuilt upper and lower radiator hoses& clamps(Bare Metal Foil), home-made MSD ignition box, and heater hoses. The carburetors and air cleaners are from the parts box. Wheels are from an old Monogram Bad Actor kit and represent something I would've put on the car if it were 1:1. I added some Detail Master interior junk, a Fujimi steering wheel, and black flocking to the interior. There is a key in the ignition. Panel lines were added with a Gundam marker and Bare Metal Foil was used for the chrome trim. Thanks for looking.

I like the color, but someone has to teach you not to lay your tools on that nice, clean interior.

Great looking tonio! Like everything about it! I built this kit a long time ago, like 6 years ago when i was 13! So it didn't have a painted interior or anything, and the engine was box stock! Great job on yours, makes me want to give the judge another try! ( well the og, not a 68 cuz they didnt' exist) Good Job!

HA!!! That's where I put my tools too. Easy access for the times when you need them. Just make sure the 9/16" box end wrench doesn't find its way into the seam.

Sweet "Judge" ya got there. I really like those Phantom projects.

Nice, I like that color, what type of primer and clear do you use? I love the tools, knife and glasses, adds that little touch ya no?
Just wondering, (im pretty sure it was you) you had a scale playboy in the seat of one of your cars? im not big on buying stuff off the net, so i was wondering if you would be able to email me a scale picture i could print?

You are one of my heros! Its super!
Only one thing, the distributor wires must be resting on the valves covers because of gravity force not going up like a bridge. But I hope you can correct that small thing.

The wires are fine to me; I duplicated a look I've seen on real cars before. Thanks though!
