I'd like to see one of these

Being an old school Muscle car guy and drag enthusiast I find the new import dragsters fascinating. I don't have the parts or import experience at this point to make one but I bet these pics will get some ideas flowing in some of you hard core import guys.

Mmmmm...call me old school, but you cant beat the sound of a big thumping V8 screaming down a 1/4 mile.
Just cant get used to seeing these cars with huge slicks at the front and skinny rears.
Almost look like they are going backwards

Yeah I hear what you are saying, it took me awhile but I am beginning to like these more and more. At first those big slicks up front looked strange to me also but they have grown on me, been a time or two I wished I had them for blasting Hondas of the line
I like the unique use of the wheelie bar on the FWD cars, the actually push down and create downforce on the fronts

Re: Re: I'd like to see one of these

im also a fan of drag racing and muscle cars.
can someone tell me why the front wheel drive cars have wheelie bars?
although i would never pay to see a import drag race, i do find them interesting

I have seen that panl before , possibly on Lay it Low?

You might not have seen my comment on the wheelie bars above. On the FWD cars they actually push down, if I am not mistaken they are hydaulic, pushing down raises the rear and applies downforce to the front tires thus providing traction.
