New 9-3 Sport Sedan audio enigma

Might anyone know who might be partner product base for latest 9-3 Sport Sedan audio unit?
900 was Clarion , 9-3 hatch was Pioneer...
I gather new unit also could be Pioneer base with Visteon navigation...
any insights?

Do you have a source origin for such claim?

Because looking in first revision preliminary service manual Saab kept origin of brand in the dark.

I only heard it is mix of two brands for navigation and audio.

I also assume it could be again either Pioneer or Clarion for audio.
However navigation implementation and supporting elements look very much like Visteon technologies.

I'm not exactly sure. From what I've read it has Pioneer amps and speakers for sure so most assume the head unit is Pioneer also. Some dealers say it is a HK head unit with Pioneer amps and speakers. Check out the link here for all you ever wanted to know about the enigma. WARNING: it is long.

Did a 'lil research and came up with theis12.0 Tier 1 Suppliers & Telematics for North America
12.1 Alpine Electronics
12.2 Delphi Automotive
12.2.1 Communiport
12.2.2 Saab 9-3 Infotainment System
So it looks like it is Delphi which I believe is a GM division or spin-off

Well done Drvv6coupe, much obliged.

Serious search results.

So as expected, navigation and audio are combined sources.

There was lots of criticism from press reflecting Premium/Platinum 70/150 systems for lack of Saab reputation worthy integration of low extension, better said complete absence of the same.

Suggested if owners has no plans for aftermarket audio only choice and value is to take 300 Prestige system as only viable choice.

I’ve heard them both and that remark is truly in order.

Re: New 9-3 Sport Sedan audio enigma

Now I've learned as 100% end information.

Navigation source for 9-3 is Delphi-Delcro.
