Supin' 88 Cutlass

Hey all.
I have a 88 Cutlas Ciera with only 39000 miles on it. Great condition and fast as hell!! Burn so many of my friends with this car. Anyway, I want to fix it up alittle. What can I add to make it look better and run better and faster? Also, I want to tune the transmission so that the first gear changes a 5mph then what it does now... What? I want it to shift quicker. Ill sacrific my top speed for a better and faster first gear. How can I do this. I beat a BMW once, and almost beat another one, but he shifted 1/2 second b4 mine did. I lost. Also, what else can I do to the car in general? Does anyone have pics of theirs looking nice? Thanks

Dave

Re: Supin' 88 Cutlass

depending on your engine, 1st, aftermarket chip should help with a quicker shift by helping your engine rev quicker. 2nd find out which tranny you've got and check out if there are any manual or elec adjustments, if not look into torque converters
