I got 180k out of mine... it was possibly more but in the last few weeks before it went cablooey the speedo cable came lose and stopped transmitting mileage... so it was probably more like 181k... LoL big difference. Keep the oil changed every 2500-3000 miles and dont dog the hell out of it. At the same time dont go babying it around either. Sounds contradictory doesn't it.....

Most WOULD easily run 200+K w/normal service. These days....not many do what's required.
1.) Oil change every 3000K religiously. 2.) Never, EVER, EVER run Pennzoil. Castrol GTX 20/50 in them new. 3.) FLush the cooling system TWICE a year, always using the correct amount of anti-freeze. 4.) Don't baby them....they really don't like it. If it full of clean oil, correct coolant, and unleaded, ( don't waste your money on premium, rotaries don't need it ).....suggest you STAND ON IT...! Starter & water pump might last 80-100K......occsional other things....but nothing major. BigPerm |
