Cool Can I easily add a SuperCharger to my stock GP GT?

I have a 98 GT and would like to put a supercharger on it. Is it possible to add GM's OEM supercharger to my engine, or do I need to get an aftermarket one?

No..you can't easily add a supercharger. Your motor is too weak....besides the many other things that aren't right. You can buy a CSC kit from www.zzperformance.com but that will run you around 4 grand.

engine swap

if you want to do an engine swap with a gtp it can be done for around $2000. you can get supercharged engines and tranneys (usually sold seperately) on ebay cheaper than a cfsc. but it's a good bit of work.....

Re: engine swap

so what if u had the GTP engine, are there supercharger upgrades avaliable for it? i don't mean buying a whole new s/c kit, but upgrade the blower maybe.

Re: Re: engine swap

The stock SC for the GTP is fine for the average modder. If you get real hardcore you can go with a ported blower from www.zzperformance.com

wow, that's awesome-i like

i've decided to take a look through their site and i've notice that this stuff is pretty cheap-or at least it seems that way to me. well this caused me to wonder if their products are any good. has anyone bought from them or use their products?

All of the fastest FWD 3800 powered W-body cars in the world run their (Intense/ZZP...same company as far as I'm concerned) products. Check out www.intense-racing.com for the list of the fastest 3800 powered FWD cars.
