Angry b16a conversion

I have a really big problem maybe some one can help me out?
I go a 88 hatch hx i just droped a b16a1 i got place racing motor mounts.
well the thing is that when I turn left or rigth it makes a cliking noise while on gear but if im coasting in natural and make the sharpes u turn that I can it wont make a noise, If i turn the wheel all the way it goes
(tktktktktktk) and as i put it straigh it goes (tktktk..tk..tk....tk) and when its straigth it wont do it no more. I opened up my tranny and the differential is fine and all the gears. my car had lowering spring and I put the stock ones back. and it was the same shit.I change the driver side axel I also got it from place racing because the stock one was too long. now the only thing that I was thinking is the passengers side axel but that one looks fine. also if I put the car in stands and I turn the car on and put it on 1st gear and I turn the wheel all the way left or rigth it doesnt click so I don't know wtf. so I was hopeing that one of u guys went thru the same shit. please let me know.

This is a REALLY common problem, your drive axles are bad. You could either rebuild 'em with new boots (never lasts) or you can spend the same amount of money (or less) and just get new axles. Putting them in is real easy, if you're pretty inexperienced it should take you a couple of hours, unless you run into complications. I know HASPORT makes axles that work for this swap, Place Racing also might, and it is possible to combine the right Honda axles, but I don't know a whole lot about it. You should fix this as soon as you can though. It won't hurt anything else on your car, but eventually they'll fall out from under you, and you won't be able to send power to the wheels. In the meantime, neutral through corners, and they'll last a while.

Well, it won't make the noise on the stands because it's freefloating, and without any weight on the joints they spin much easier. I am surprised that there is no evident damage to the boots, though. One thing, have either of the axles been repaired before? I can't imagine it isn't an axle problem. I went through the same thing, and so have other people I know, or whose cars I work on, and all of the symptons you're describing are so classic that it makes me want to reminisce.

Also, is there any evidence that the axles slinging grease? If part of your engine bay is abnormally gross, then one of the axles might not be sealing correctly, and if one of the CV joints dried out it would definitely cause the stereotypical broken axle symptoms you're experiencing.

you might also want to check your upper and lower ball joints. i replaced both drive axles and lower ball joints, still had the click. found out it was the upper.
