Which b16 engine do you recommend for a 5th gen. civic?

I have a 1995 civic and i am wondering what you all think is the best B16 series engine for it...i was thinking the B16A3, let me know if you agree or disagree, thanks

B16A2=99-00 Si
B16A3=Del sol VTEC

The two have the same specs. One is OBD1 the others 2. I suggest neither. Get the 2nd gen JDM B16A. At least it has 10 more hp.

Do not get a B16A2. The 5th gen Civic is OBDI and the A2 is OBDII. JDM B16A 2nd gen is an OBDI and has 10 more hp. All aftermarket parts are the same for all B16's

ok, I was under the impression that the JDM B16 2nd gen was referred to as the b16a2 I read this on another forum....so is that not the case?

Because I own a 1994 civic and want to put the 170bhp B16 JDM engine into it....and this one is always referred to as a b16a2.

Im probably wrong as I dont know much about it.

You'll need to pick up a integra shiftlinkage, the Delsols is a different size and shape. Other than that, stay inside your OBD and you're golden.
