Help Me!!!!
Well I'm having a minor problem here. I started on a job to replace my timing chain on an '87 Cutlass Supreme with the 3.8 V6 motor. Having done this job on an '86 with the 308 V8 I didn't think anything of it...at first. I have been having nothing but trouble since the begining. From water pump bolt heads snapping to fuel lines being in the way of timing chain cover bolts. But now I am a little lost. After getting just about everything out of the way I realized that I have to remove the distributor to pull the cover plate. I got the cap and clamp bolt removed but the distributor won't budge. Not being very familiar with this engine, I was just wondering if there are more bolts holding the distributor in or if I just need to get a big pry bar to get the thing out.
Any help with this situation would be appreciated. |
