Hey there, I don't know how much it will help because I'm not sure as to what you are asking for, but there is a 92 2.3 Si engine for sale on Ebay right now. Here's the link:

i dont think you can swap your vtec head im assuming from your h23 to an h22....but if you got an h22 they are vtec engines so i dont know why you would....unless you were thinking about just getting a 2.2 liter engine from a parted lude which is proly what your thinking but i dont think its possible....but im not sure better ask around some more.....but im almost positive you can swap to a 2.2 liter engine entirely, but you would need new wire harnesses, ecu, etc, and transmission i believe

I don't think it would make sense to use a h22 block with your h23 head. You can swap the H22 into your car. From what I understand it a straight swap over. I would get the vtec trans. It is better in my opinion. What exactly is wrong with yours that you wanna swap it?

I have a 92 Si. I blew the tranny(no fluid) and put a tranny from a 96 vtec in it and it is a big difference to me. I am looking for a swap now or I may rebuild my engine, because I am eating oil very bad.

theres no point of putting a h23 head on a h22. it doesnt make sense. but putting a h22 head on a h23, not that makes sense! vtec in a 2.3 liter. very nice. or you could just get a complete swap for the h22 engine with transmission and everything else you need for the swap. check out www.hmotorsonline.com for motors and prices. i heard they were good. swapping h23 motors to h22 are pretty common actually and will run around $5000 for the whole job.

OK, keep the H23 block with the H22 head .....by Frankinsteining your engine ....I was told ...correct me if im wrong you will come out with 220-240hp, very nice, this is probably the best, easiest, and definately chapest way to do it.

i heard that you do get alot of horsepower but you have to know exactly what your doing or reliability of the engine will go down. you will have to build your bottom end... so im told. its a big project.

Can't find a block lower than $2000. just replaced the h23 head, pistons, rods, everything, but it's still got a rattle at the bottom which kills the oil pressure. I've put so much money into this car. i think i just want to seel it. i love it to death though. Can't find anyone in Arkansas with a machine to line board it. Not even the Honda places.
