Clear coat over Tamiya decals
Has any1 had any problems using Tamiya clear gloss spray over Tamiya decals? I think I read that it can sometimes react with the decals (though there's never any description of what it actually does to them). Assuming the reaction is to the paint thinners rather than the gloss paint itself, could I not just spray to mist coats before a full coat, or would that effect the overall glossy finish?
I'm not using huge decals from WRC cars, just the normal ones of the Tamiya racing series (the 360Spider for instance), and also the metal transfers the newer kits have. Any experiences shared would be appreciated |

Re: Clear coat over Tamiya decals
Mist coat works just fine. As long as you don't wet the decal with spray paint, the decal should be alright.
