Pulling off the 2.2L infavor of the V6
I am looking at my 2.2L 2001 Rodeo S and am wanting to replace the hampster with a 3.2L What all would I need to accomplish this swap?
I know the engine but as far as ECm or other parts I am clueless. Has anyone ever done this swap before and do you have any pointers? |

I Think It Would Be Better To Trade It In And Buy A 6 Cyl Model The Engine Will Cost Somewhere In The Neighborhood Of $3,000 For A Good Used One Thats Not Including The Harness ,pcm Alarm Module, Time And Effort Alone Just Would Not Be Worth It Dont Forget About Frame Mods

Re: Pulling off the 2.2L infavor of the V6
Well,
Kinda of impratical to do so. My wife bought the Rodeo about 2 weeks before we got married and she owes like 9K on it still so getting a new one is off limits. I was hoping I could find a totaled (body wise) and rip the insides out from it. I also need to add Tilt and cruise control to the beast. |
