Can a Rx-7 motor fit into a Ford Courier PU Truck?

Because it would look and run sick ass hell. All I need is to find a RX motor and tranny that work right and it may be done

Here is a reminder.Trucks are about torque,not horsepower.You want more higher torque numbers more so than hp.Rotarys can make a lot of horsepower,but not a lot of torque.They can make good numbers,but not like some piston engines.IMO it would be a waste of time and money.But you can do what you want.

I think it would work...if you want it to. Remember trucks are somewhat extremely light in the rear....to much torque and they go spinning down the road....Does anyone actually realize this? Im sure you do....Which means with that high hp lower trq engine he can launch at a somewhat lower rpm... while in boost....get off the line fairly quick and then with a little speed mash it and be gone....Id say go for it.

Heres a thread whee they are talking about swapping one into a B2600. Theres a member on this site called Judge Ito that owns a Rotary Performance shop who has built meny B2600 Rotary trucks and they were monsters.
