91 Civic Hatch...worth it?
Alright, heres the story, my friend is looking for his first car (16 years old) and tonite we went and looked at a 1991 Si Hatch (he likes 4th gens)... anyway, the body is in good shape, interior is perfect, but it has 293,xxx KM's...
The seller is asking $1200cdn, I would say we could get them down to $900-1000 because of the mileage... So, do you think it is worth it? Thanks

If i had the money I would definatly buy it... We went looking at it again today, the body is worse than i thought but still savable (is that a word?) but the underbody is perfect. She needs a paint job too, she has been painted green over original red, the engine bay is still red, and it is coming through on some place... We started her up today to, went first try.... I'm trying to convince him to buy it... i can't let him pass such a deal

Shit.. I payed $2200 USD for my 91 hatchie... (granted, it had 110,000 miles when I bought it).... if i could have gotten mine (my hatch ) for $1200 CDN, I probably would have crapped my pants!!
