you wanna talk crx crash test.

i got into my first real car accident today.
some toyota matrix was spinnin all over, it hit 2 other cars and then i had no choice but to slamm on my breaks and try not to hit it. but i did.
my front bumper is screwed, hoods got some damage, and my right fender which i am replacing soon anyway
i am fine, but i gotta bit of a sore neck, i did a nice chunk of damage against that matrix
i think new cars are designed to crumble in an accident but leave the people inside save. this way they can live to go buy more cars.
either way, i hope the insurance goes my way, i have no clue how it will go, but wish me luck

ouch that sux, glad ur alright tho, good to see ur not too badly hurt, apparently i just missed an accident today, my buddy was walkin on the sidewalk and i didnt have time to pick him up for school but he was watching me get onto the service road and boot it down there, then he looks behind him 2 seconds laterly after i hit the twisties and he sees a truck smoke a van that ran the red light, he told me this and i was like, holy shit, thats scarey, if i came a lil later... i coulda been involved, he said the van was totalled cuz they spun 3 times and smoked a poll, my mom drove by about 10 mins later and said it looked like the van caught fire, kinda freaky, glad it wasnt me, i know thats a really REALLY bad intersection there.
again, glad ur alright

here in saskatchewan we have government run auto insurance
my car is 635 a YEAR canadain to insure, it never goes up and it doesn't change based on age, accidents, sex, anything. I have to pay a maximum 700$ deductable if they rule against me. i hope they don't cause then i might get my licence suspend or something, cause i'm still on probabtionary licence. with our insurrance (SGI) you can't get sued or anything.
but thanks anyway, winters cummin up so everyone drive safe
and if its ruled for me, i'm getting some beefy winter tires

welcome to the wrecking crew

good luck with ins. if the matrix was already hitting things...then it should go your way. you were just a link in a chain of events caused by them.

Re: Re: you wanna talk crx crash test.

rock on!
my neck pain is fading quickly, and thats not what i care about, i'm 17, i'll heal.
i'm glad everyone thinks that insurance will go my way. But i'm not spending any money incase it does go against me. hope for the best prepare for the worst.
my crx ain't totaled, not by a long shot.
i'm amazed what a tough little basterd it is.
new bumper, hood, and a paint job. can't be more than 1-2 grand damage tops, since i already have a new fender thanks to decepticon racing. when everythings all together and its looking beautiful again you can count on some pics.
everyone thanks for your support! i get my adjustment on tuesday and hopefully i'll know who their ruleing against too so i'll be sure to keep y'all posted

well they 'de-criminalized' it, which means if you get busted with small amounts you only get a fine.
there basically laying the ground work for us to be able to buy it at 7-11.
SGI is our insurance company here in saskatchewan.
we ahve no fault insurance. not all of canada has this, just our province

we have some of the lowest insurance rates in north america
my 89 crx dx is 660 dollars per year to insure.
a 98 cavalier is 1000 dollars

if you get in an accident you can't sue the other driver if you get injured, sgi working with doctors assess your injurys and helps you out as much as you need. when my mom was recovering from her injurys from a car accident sgi provided us with a maid to clean our house when she was unable too. my friend was just mangled in a car accident and sgi gave her 30 000 dollars to make up for the time she missed working, going to school, and for the pain she endured. however if she had been ablt to sue the drive she would have gotten at least 3 times that.
with our 'no fault' insurance people 'recover' from their injuries twice as fast. because they know there only gunna get enough money to get them healed and back working. sgi controls every aspect of getting you licence, suspensions, that type of thing. they can be a pain the in ass at times, but i like it.
everyone move to saskatchewan!!!!

if you don't mind cold winters and salty roads fucking up your honda
