Sorry to see a car that nice in that sort of shape. At least your OK, and you can get another Skyline with the insurance money. Will they let you keep the car for parts?

Mate that brings tears to my eyes. I am so sorry to see your loss.

On the Auckland SDU trip down to Wellington some broad nearly took out my R32 GTR I just got when she was not paying attention and after I avoided getting the ass-end crunched she still nearly smacked the club member in front of me. I would have had to deal to her severly for that for sure.

Don't worry Vince, if she had of done anything to your baby she would have had the whole of SDU hunting her down!
Hope you enjoyed your trip down dude and hope the clutch is all better also!

Regards,
Anguss R33.

Adam:
Hi dude......sorry about the loss.......but every cloud has it's silver lining......I've just been studying the first picture you posted.....and dammit if the R33 doesn't have bloody good crumple zones.....look at how unmarked the cabin area is......but the rear end is totalled!!!
(gotta worry a little about having a great big twin subwoofer box in the back though.....)
I feel a lot safer driving a R33 now....it seems to have excellent crash protection......

Take care dude,

Jon.

PEACE, LOVE AND HORSEPOWER.

Hahah Anguss.

While it is sickening to see a Skyline in that condition it is also a testimine to how well these cars are made. To think New Zealand is trying to bin all car produced earlier than 1994. The R32 and R33 share the same type of frontal impact protection.

Imagine how baddly you could have been hurt if you were in a Honda accord or something like that mate. I am so glad to hear you were not hurt.

Have to admit that the new laws coming in do suck!
I was hopeing to get an R in the next few years (after my 25T) looks like it will almost be impossible to get a good R as time goes bye.
I suppose I'll just have to wait for you to move to a 33 aye Vince??? :toothless
Man I love these new Smilies....

Regards,
Anguss R33.
