ground control coil over should run you like $399 plus the new shocks. either that or one of tien's (sp, maybe tein?) enter priced sets.

I got a set of full coil overs/shocks made by JIC.
I'm asking $500 for the set. |

oh, and btw, just because your friends told you you "need" coilovers doesn't mean you "need" coil-overs. they're good, yes, but expensive. and do your RESEARCH before you even think of buying "dem". there's tons of options out there, and you need to find the right ones for your budget and your style of driving. don't just go out and buy the most expensive ones because "dey phat, yo!" cause they could be all wrong for you. don't be so lazy, type right, and do some research and all will be good.

Before I even consider spending money on springs, coil over or what ever that you need for your suspension, I would consider your driving needs… you did not mention anything that will give me a clue on what your looking for in you suspension (drift/grip? or maybe just show)
240 has a lot of parts, and finding suspension parts should not be an issue. Surf the net or Pick up or one of those car magazines and look at the adds in them. That would be a good start. I don’t consider myself a good driver yet… (Canyon driver) and no matter what suspension I have on it I can’t take full advantage of it yet! (I’m still to slow with rev-match and exiting speed ) I advise you to learn with what you have so when you upgrade you skill will be able to capitalize on the upgrade. Ps “unless the shocks are leaking and the car is swinging like made, then that is a diff story!” |

if you really want a good suspension at a great price, go on ebay. you can find springs like the tein s tech or tanabe gf210 for about $150 + shipping and tokico hp's for like 270 all around. thats what i did and i love my tanabe gf210 springs. if you lookin for a huge drop tho, the tein and tanabe gf210 won't give it to you, eibach sportline's might and tanabe has some other series too, i think sf210 (there not made for handling as much as the gf210's), that give a bigger drop.
