Well, so far so good. i work at Neumanns and have been doing some studies on trying to figure out what could ever be wrong with this fake ferrari.
Its a Toyota Mr-2 converted with the original ferarri kit and badge making it look like a natural original ferarri itself. Yep, no joke. I was fooled. ![]() This rich looking guy came along a few days ago wanting help urgently. And im not a hundred percent sure myself whats going on with it. We all know, that doing a radiator job around the clock gets a bit frustrating. And when it comes to high performance cars, you realyl dont wanna fuck anything up untill certain. This toyota's leaking water everywhere where possible. Ive removed the stainless steel hose underneath the body and noticed two more hoses by it that had a hole dug in size of a beer cap. Ive welded it, put in new clamps and bolts and shoving it even up further so none of it stick out form underneath. Being certain that its all working great, taken it for a short test drive and nothing went wrong. The guy drove away happy. Untill the next following day. Comes back, and the first thing i notice was great steam flowing at the back of the car. I opened the latch and the collant bottle was bubbling heaps. Coming to think of it i was starting to get worried, so i had the engine running and fixed the bubbles from the links and it was "bubblefree". So let it run for a good half an hour even. The temperature gauge was perfect. Kinda hard to understand tho.. but im beginning to think it could be the head gasket. THe water in the cap is normal, but ims tarting to notice smells from it and the oil isnt starting to look so great either. I guess theres more ways to what it could be, but to my calculations it could be the head gasket. Quite frankly im sick of pulling out cylinder heads from cars for one week, but when it comes to this Mr-2/ferarri, im too chicken shit to even touch that thing its so fragile. THe owner himself dropped a steel can on the front of the car and made a hole though the fibreglass kit. What do you recon, i have a feeling im not being too clear anough about this story |
