d series buildup?
hey guys what do you think of this possible setup?
d16a6 or sohc ZC block d16a1 pistons (pg7?) d16y8 head d16y6 intake manifold b18b LS t/b - 60mm as far as installing this into a 90 civic.....converting to OBD-1 is easily changeable to create a "ecu - harness" or do all the plugs not fit from the 88-91 over to the new grey plug 92-95? thankyou for any input..

D16Y6?!
Where can you find parts/mods for that f*cked up engine?! I have a 1999 civic VTi and it has a D16Y6 engine. I've been searching the whole web for anything for my engine's type and still couldn't find anything.

all d series intake manifolds are interchangeable.
all SOHC d series parts are interchangeable for that matter, except for a couple small things on certain engines, but for the most part, any d series part will fit any other d series engine |

Re: d series buildup?
never heard of a y6, but if you mean z6, stick to the y8 manifold, its hella big

i told you, any d series parts will work with your engine. just becuase it is called D16Y6 doesnt mean that D16Y8 parts wont work with it. It appears identical to a D16Y8 to me, only detuned.

some one told me that a hf block with a 5thgen head or i guess 6th gen would work too, will yield mad comp ratio and is good for like low 15s. idk if true but soemone told me that
