New here..and to Stangs!

Hello,

ok i might get bashed for asking this...but i'll do it anywayz cuz i don't know

In a couple of months i'm looking to get a stang...as i see there are lots of V8's around my city...i have my 4 banger set up for that class...but i need somethin a lil bit more for the higher areas :P to step up to the big boys!

i really really like the SALEEN body style and i've sat in a ROUSH before...i think it was either a stage 1 or 2...don't remember.

if i purchase a regular GT say...year '00 and up....can i get it converted to a SALEEN or a ROUSH? how much is the cost vs. purchaseing a SALEEN or ROUSH? and also...where do i go for that type of tuneing? lol...or where can i get the parts?

yes i'm a newbie to V8's..but hey...they look nice :P

im almost positive any 99 and up gt can be converted saleen or roush, for a pretty penny that is! check out www.saleen.com or www.roushparts.com for details. however, it saves a bundle when you consider how much a saleen or roush is off the line from ford. it just doesnt give you the satisfaction of owning a real one, thats all. as for new mustangs go, i think the best looking one is the roush stage 3 without a doubt. mmmmmmm....roush....stage....3.....ughhhhhhhhhhh. oh yea anyways, lol.

r u talking about converting the WHOLE car to either roush/saleen or just the body?

saleen sells the body kit for just over $1000, which does not include the hood, spoiler, scoop inserts or grill inserts.
