The R34 is well under way!!!

After the superb surprise of finding my local hobby shop had two R34 Skylines back in, my favourite kit ever is back under way!

This was the one that crazed the paint when laquered, something traced down to the wrong primer!

Anyway, I sprayed the new body today, and adjusted the suspension so it sits slightly lower, suitable for the aftermarket Nismo suspension I built for it!
It also has bigger calipers and disks, and I am workingon a Nismo exhaust right now.

Fingers crossed for the laquer on this one, and hope to show it finished soon!

How a chassis should look, none of that molded on rubbish!

The suspension on the Skylines is superb, a real joy to build!
Here are the red bases of the Nismo struts, the silver Nismo roll bar and the front section of the standard exhaust.

Isn't it funny how same kits you could do over and over !!!

The BTCC Volvo 850 i made 5 of them ....just loved the kit.

If you remember from the pics i done the matching pair for the Volvo Team, and also Peter Brocks car X2 and one for as a gift for a person.

2 where built as the BTCC Team and the other was Peter Brocks Aust touring car.
The other 2 i built for gifts to people.

I may even scratch built it in to a drag car. I have a spare supercharged V8 along with huge slicks etc....so i'm thinking along those lines.

This kit is next on the list! The S2000 is pretty much done!

Tamiya do a great Titanium silver, which is perfect for the dash centre console!
I just need to build a Nismo exhaust for this, and lacquer the body now!
