Skunk2 Intake Mani.

Well...reading about the skunk2 intake manifold on GSR's it increases 12 hp?!...thats awesome...if it does...Should i get the ITR TB with that?? Or what do u suggest...and what other apps should i go with with it...i have CAI, DC 4-2-1 header, and 2 1/4" cat-back apex'i exhaust, MSD 8.5 mm spark wires...any suggestions..thanks...i wanna get my sol into the 13's by next summer...

Yes, you should get at least the ITR TB, maybe even bigger. No, the manifold will not get you 12. You'll get a bit more trq though. The only way I can see you getting that type of gain is by at least port matching the head or a full p&p but even all that will not get you 13's in a heavy sol chassis. Do a little gutting and maybe you'll barely get there. It takes alot for 13's. Try cams, reprogrammed ECU tuned with a AFC and bump compression w/ some ITR pistons and you should most definitly be there.

Yeah, get at least a 68mm throttle body for your sol. GSR engine is better power plant than your sol's engine so they will show more gains with that product than your car will get. Remember you don't want to get the wrong setup for your car though when choosing a throttle body otherwise you'll end up losing power. Have fun with your project sol.

hey i think i readed some where you will get 12 hp from it but you wont see it til 7000-10000 rpms

hey, I'm thinking about doing a skunkmani and a gsr TB for my 99 cic ex, will this provide gains that I will notice? what do you think considering it's a y8?
