Question How to remove oil pan? 81 Supra MK1, engine IN.

How do I remove the oil pan on an 81 Supra MK1, with the engine IN.
I've got to remove it to repair rust-hole leaks (dribbles about a pint every 24 hours) or to fit a replacement pan. The gasket is not leaking, the oil is leaking from the pan, just above the crossmember.
The Haynes book says it can be done but does not show how. Do you have the answer to make my day?

To drop the pan without pulling the engine, you'd have to drop the whole front subframe. To me it's alot easier to just pull the engine and trans, then take the pan off from their, especially in a MKI with minimal wiring and hoses.
