Exclamation Converting A Maxiama From Auto Transmission To a 5 Spd

I have a question is it possible that a a maxiam 98 can be converted from an automatic transmission to a 5 spd and if so how and about how much will it cost ?

absolutely yes! the exact cost of the conversion depends on how much you can get the manual tranny for from a junkyard...there's an article about the auto to maual swap at Maximadriver.com under tech article.

about $1000 or so for a used tranny, $2-400 for the clutch, and whatever else you can get for the other parts, try different junk yards... I'd say between $1-2000...

hey matt... when you decide to do yours... go to feltons used Nissan parts in Everett... they have EVERYTHING!!!

Serious man... our team get's all of our stuff from there...

Though I do plan on swapping out the tranny someday, those are not in my plans right now, which are not car related. Ive decided to scale down and concentrate on other things, though by no means am I stopping...
