I don't think you'll make too many new friends with them unfortunately. They've been around since the end of July - the first place I saw them posted was Supercars.net and then from there they were posted at many other sites including this one before the link got taken down.

They are great photos though, so maybe there are some here who haven't seen them.

The entire collection of those LM photos can be found here:

http://speed.supercars.net/Board?vie...430980#1430980

Don't complain to me about the pop-up windows.

There is a trick to get around some of them at SC.net. Follow along if you can...

If you right-click on each thumbnail and select 'Properties' from the pulldown menu, you can then copy the URL for that thumbnail.

Then paste the URL into a new browser window and remove the word 'small' found just ahead of the '.jpg' file extension. Then the full sized image will load. If you just press enter without removing the word, then only the thumbnail will load.

You will note that just ahead of the word 'small' in the filename will be the letter 'a', 'b', 'c', or d' - that letter will change for each thumbnail in a single post. If there are only two images in someone's post then the URL for both will be exactly the same except for the 'a' or 'b'.

So, once you copy the URL for the first thumbnail and remove the word 'small' you will only need to change that last letter from 'a' to 'b', 'c', or 'd' to see all four full sized images.

Let me know if you have any problems. I think I broke it down fairly simply though.

i edited the whole thing and uploaded the further 30 or so pictures and updated alot of the mclaren pictures also and corrected the gtr pics which i had mistakenly placed in the wrong category.

the link now is
http://www.exoticcarsite.com/pages/mclaren_f1_lm-1.htm

just a little off topic here,
Peloton25 do you know howto access pictures that supercars.net have as "premium images" ??? i want some of those pics from the supercar rally 2003 as i cant find any other supercar rally 2003 pics anywhere!???????
i hate supercars.net, you have to pay for images. pfft hence why i created this site, i just got sick to death of seeing the same images on car sites over and over and small dodgy pictures too that are all blurry and stuff. , but now with digital camera technology we can get high res pictures

mini magic is a SC.net Premium Member again, so if you have special requests, he can probably provide them for you.

I'll be givng them my $30 or whatever it is once I get my high speed access at home. I agree that paying for something that used to be free is a drag. However, bandwidth costs money and I have seen far too many great websites disappear because they couldn't afford to pay the bills. I don't mind supporting a site that I enjoy with a little bit of money.

supercars.net used to be okay when you didnt have to pay but since then, i rarely, like once every 2 months say, go there just to check up a couple of things like making sure i have the correct year model dates etc. i didnt actually get the pics from supercars.net, i got them from the actual site at turnermotorsports.com. they have chassis number 7 in F1 spec and chassis number 3 in LM spec, if you can find the link for winning a ride in a mclaren F1 for providing the funniest caption to a picture they have click on it and you go from there, if that makes sense.

my server is only 200 megs ad 2 gig bandwidth for $5US, which ive already 100 megs and 300mgs bandwidth. but i saw on an ad on this server actually at sitlutions.com or something you can get 1gig and 50gig bandwidth for $7-8US so im sorta pondering about that at the moment.

eventually i do plan on setting up the "shopping cart" system to make some money to pay for it all but not for a while yet. i wanna get everything link etc working first!!

mini magic- i hate to pester you with requests, sorta thing i do, but could you get the eb110 and pagani pictures for me if you want ofcourse . its just that the eb110 and the pagani zonda series are my favourite cars, aswell as the f50 also
