changing pop-up lights

does anyone know if it's possible to take out the pop up lights on an 87 celica and install normal ones? i know there's gonna be cutting involved...but that doesn't matter, i just don't like the pop ups

Peacefully,

Guerilla

there are shops that usually do conversions for pantiacs and other american cars i live in houston and the shops like this are ample and i found a couple that will do the job for me when i get around to doing it depending for your year since the shape of the lights is different i dont know but its worth a shot to ask its not gonna hurt if you find a place and they say no but show up in person when you ask i had places tell me no they dont do them for my car and then when i showed up they said yeah we can do that damn bastards i hope there might be a kit i know they make them for mr2s but i never found any and i want mine tinted a certain color anyways so there you go

thank you for the thoughts...actually i tore my lights out the other day and i think i can figure out a way....there's more than enough room, but the hood is cut so i would have to rebuild the corners where the lights are now...unless a newer or older toyota hood will fit...

Peacefully,

pop ups are the best but the one thing i dont like is the sealed headlights but i found conversions for them that are not sealed they have holes and the back for reg bulbs
