1978 Monte Carlo

Hi, I know Linberg makes a 1978 monte carlo, but its the lowrider one with the remote control and no interior and stuff. Im looking for a stock 78 monte carlo. Does anyone make one? If you saw the movie Training Day, Im lookin to build a lowrider like the one Denzel Washington drives. Thanks for anyhelp you can give.

You should try looking for some old Monogram kits, they probably made one. Also give AMT a go, I know that Revell didn't make a 78 Monte under it's name, but it may of under Monogram.

MPC Made one that will be re-released later this year under the AMT name. Also a company by the name of Trumpeter will release one as well.

A while ago I was going to build this car but I had no luck finding a kit to match the year he drives in the movie. It would be an easy replica too....all it would need are the hydros and the exhaust tip :P.

Check out this thread: http://www.layitlow.com/forums/index...&f=18&t=64214&

The promo is 1/25 and the MPC Monte Carlo is called 'Wheeler Dealer'. If you need some hydros you should maybe buy the new Revell 1963 Impala, is has some gold pumps and very good detail to all the pieces. If you just want to take the hydros from the kit I will buy the kit off you if you have no other uses for it. Seeming that I stuffed up the paint on my 63 and I need to do a replica of one in my Lowrider club I really need some more of them, but I can't find any in my local shops.

Hope that link helps you out, maybe just watch it for a while as it will most likely get more replies.
