cerwin vega subs
i am thinking about buying a pair of cerwin vega hed 12dvc subs they have dual 4 ohm voice coils what do you guys think about these subs i plan to hook then up to a audiobahn a6601x amp running them @ 2 ohms 105 watts rms im building a fiberglass box going into my v8 powered 85 rx7

Are you planning on running your entire system off of that one amp?
If not then it is a terrible choice for 2 subs...I mean that's a 6-channel amp dude, what are you going to do with the other 4 channels? even if you were going to do what you planned, you would be sending those subs HALF of what they need. If you really want those subs find something that puts out around 200x2 rms

i think that cerwin vega makes some great subs, very durable cheap for the power.they have been around for ever. and know thier stuff.
